Binarium
Binarium has been designed with simplicity in mind, featuring a fast, fully digital sign-up process and an intuitive platform and app with 4 chart types and 12 indicators. With binaries spanning 5 minutes to 3 months, it caters to short- and medium-term traders.

Binarium is an established broker that offers binary trading on up to 121 assets, depending on your account tier, covering currencies, cryptos, stocks, indices, and commodities. Its web platform works well and packs a punch in the charting department with its TradingView integration. However, weak regulatory credentials and a restrictive selection of expiry times, from 60 seconds to 5 minutes, are limiting.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Binarium offers a tradeback feature, where a percentage of your losses can be returned as a bonus, helping to soften the blow of losing trades. This feature can help traders extend their sessions and recover more quickly from setbacks, a rare benefit among binary platforms.
  • The broker occasionally hosts promotional contests and tournaments that offer traders the opportunity to win prizes in addition to their regular trading profits. This introduces an element of gamification and extra motivation, adding value beyond standard trading.
  • Binarium’s customer support is available 24/7 with multilingual agents, ensuring you can get help at any time, regardless of your time zone. For traders in regions often underserved by global brokers, this level of accessibility offers real practical benefits.

Cons

  • The platform offers a limited range of binaries on cryptocurrencies and currency pairs, which restricts diversification options compared to competitors like Deriv with broader asset selections.
  • Withdrawal processing at Binarium can be slow and complicated, depending on your account tier, which can be inconvenient for traders seeking faster access to their funds.
  • Despite claims of segregated client funds, the lack of formal regulation and limited transparency pose risks that may not sit well with more cautious traders, who prioritize security and oversight.

Company Details

Binarium has been operating since 2012 and is registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines – an offshore, ‘tier 4’ jurisdiction in BinaryOptions.net’s regulator directory.

Also, the regulator in Saint Vincent and The Grenadines – the Financial Services Authority (SVGFSA) – has made clear that it does not regulate retail binary brokers.

Binarium also has a compliance certificate from the International Financial Markets Relations Regulation Center (IFMRRC), but this is a non-governmental organization that provides no meaningful protection for international traders.

Without proper regulation, you’re trading without essential safeguards. If you encounter withdrawal delays, suspect platform issues, or face account access problems, your options for recourse are minimal.

Contrast this with regulated brokers like Dukascopy, which is required to segregate client funds, maintain transparency, and provide legitimate dispute resolution mechanisms. Regulation creates accountability.

Trading binaries with Binarium involves accepting a significant level of risk beyond normal market exposure.

Accounts

Like many binary options brokers we’ve tested, Binarium offers a tiered account system. However, the broker should be commended for clearly displaying the requirements of the five accounts on its website before you sign up.

  • The Start account allows you to begin with just $5 to $100. Still, you’ll face tight restrictions – limited trading assets of around 67, simultaneous open trades capped at $100, and daily withdrawal caps of approximately $75. It’s accessible, but restrictive.
  • Move up to a Standard account ($100-$500), and you’ll unlock more assets (around 76), higher withdrawal limits ($200 daily), and a 5% tradeback on losses (a partial compensation of your losses if, during a specified period, you incur more losses than gains). The amount of simultaneous open trades also increases to $250.
  • The Business account ($500-$2000) is where things get more serious. You get access to around 92 assets, a 10% tradeback on losses, and daily withdrawal limits of $500. The amount of simultaneous open trades also increases to $1000.
  • The Premium account ($2,000–$5,000) offers 113 tradable assets, a 12.5% tradeback, a $1,500 daily withdrawal limit, and support for up to $2,500 in simultaneous open trades.
  • Top-end VIP accounts (over $5,000) remove most restrictions entirely – complete library of over 121 assets, 15% tradeback, unlimited open trades, and exclusive bonuses.

It’s important to remember that while higher tiers offer genuine flexibility, those tradebacks can create a false sense of security, encouraging overtrading. And none of these perks change the fact that Binarium operates without legitimate regulation.

Binarium also offers a free binary demo account, the setup of which is a mixed bag. First, the barrier to entry: you can’t access a practice account without first creating a live account.

That said, once you’re past registration, things move quickly. You only need to provide an email address and create a password (no KYC details are required), and within seconds, you’ll have access to a non-expiring demo environment loaded with $10,000 in virtual funds.

The platform does handle account switching effortlessly. Toggling between your demo and live accounts is genuinely seamless – a single click transitions you without requiring a log-out or navigating through multiple menus.

However, there’s a significant limitation: the demo balance isn’t replenishable. Once you’ve exhausted that initial $10,000 through practice trades, you’re done.

Payment Methods

Binarium’s payment system supports a wide variety of deposit methods, including credit cards, debit cards, e-wallets such as Skrill, Neteller, and WebMoney, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple, as well as bank transfers. That said, available payment options vary significantly by region.

In my experience, the deposit process is instantaneous, allowing you to start trading immediately.

Withdrawals require a verified account status first. The minimum withdrawal amount is around $5, although this may fluctuate depending on your chosen method. Processing times are tier-dependent: Start account holders wait up to five business days, while Premium and VIP members can see funds in as little as one business day.

Binarium’s payment variety is respectable. However, the combination of regional restrictions, account tier limitations, and mandatory verification creates potential points of friction.

Before depositing anything, confirm which methods are actually available in your location and understand your account tier’s withdrawal timeline. Getting money in is easy – getting it out efficiently requires planning.

Markets

Binarium’s asset selection is functional but noticeably restricted compared to competitors like Pocket Option or Deriv.

You’ll find between 67 and 121 tradable assets, depending on your account tier – annoying that access is gated by how much you deposit.

For forex, there are approximately 25 pairs, including the majors such as EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY. Cryptocurrency options number around 10, with Bitcoin, Solana, and Dogecoin available across all accounts. However, Ethereum, Ripple, and Litecoin are locked behind Premium and VIP tiers, which I found frustrating.

Stock options cover about 13 major US companies – Apple, Microsoft, Amazon are accessible early on, but you’ll need a Business account or higher to trade Nvidia and others.

The indices selection is bare-bones: Nasdaq 100 and Dow Jones 30 are there, but don’t expect much depth.

Commodities are equally disappointing – only four are available. Gold is open to everyone, but silver requires a Business tier or above.

If you need diverse markets or sophisticated instruments, look elsewhere. Binarium covers core assets adequately, but the tier-gated access and limited range make it feel restrictive from the start.

Payouts

Binarium focuses on conventional binary options, offering payouts between 70% and 92%, which aligns with industry standards.

Potential returns are clearly displayed in the platform before you enter a trade, and like most firms, vary depending on the asset and market conditions. Major currency pairs, for example, tend to offer greater returns than volatile cryptos.

The good news regarding Binarium’s fee structure is that there are no trading commissions or fees on individual binary options positions.

However, be aware that if your account remains dormant for 90 days, you’ll be charged a $50 inactivity fee (or an equivalent amount in your account currency). This penalty exists to encourage continuous trading, but it can catch newer traders off guard who step away temporarily.

Currency conversion fees are another consideration. If you’re depositing or trading in a currency different from your account’s base currency, expect additional fees.

Expiry Times

Binarium is focused on short-term traders with expiry times that range from 60 seconds to 5 minutes. This makes it only suitable for ultra-short-term strategies.

In contrast, most binary firms we’ve used offer contract lengths that last several hours, days, or even months in some cases. IQCent and CloseOption, for example, have binary contracts that expire after 1 month.

Platform

The trading interface runs entirely through your web browser – there’s no standalone mobile application available. You’re working with a proprietary system that prioritizes simplicity over sophistication.

For charting, you can choose between curve, curve area, bar, and candlestick formats, plus there’s TradingView integration built in. TradingView is miles better, providing access to over 100 technical indicators and approximately 50 drawing tools for in-depth chart analysis.

Navigation is intuitive enough that you won’t waste time figuring out where things are. That said, I noticed some quirks while using it – when toggling sidebar sections, such as the ‘Education’ module, charts occasionally fail to adjust their dimensions properly, resulting in awkward spacing.

Binary trading on Binarium's platform

Web Platform

What’s notably absent are innovative trading formats. Some competitor platforms offers features such as ‘Pool’ and ‘Hype Pool’ modes – these create competitive trading environments where you’re positioned against other traders for potential returns of up to 500%.

There’s also a social trading component that allows you to automatically mirror the positions of other traders. While this appeals to newcomers, you’re delegating financial decisions to unverified individuals.

During our latest round of testing, however, the selection of copyable strategies was empty, so we were unable to copy any trades.

Overall, the platform functions adequately for straightforward binary trades, but it lacks advanced contract types, such as touch and ladder binaries, or any other unique selling points.

Plus, the copy trading function is pretty much redundant and you won’t encounter proprietary features or sophisticated tools beyond TradingView’s capabilities.

Research

We dug into Binarium’s research capabilities, and honestly, there’s almost nothing there.

The platform includes an economic calendar that shows when major economic releases are scheduled – that’s useful for timing trades around high-impact events. But beyond that single feature, you’re on your own.

There’s no integrated news feed, not even basic headlines from TradingView, despite having its charting tools available. No proprietary market analysis, no daily commentary on what’s moving markets, no context for why assets are behaving in specific ways.

You won’t find binary trading signals suggesting entry points, no blog breaking down current trends, no webinars discussing strategy applications in real market conditions. The research infrastructure is essentially nonexistent.

Education

Binarium’s educational offerings are disappointingly minimal.

You’ll find a FAQ section that’s decently written and covers fundamental trading concepts, plus a strategies page with straightforward guides on various trading approaches. Some platform tutorial videos walk you through basic functionality.

For absolute beginners taking their first steps into binary options, these materials provide an okay foundation – you’ll gain a clear understanding of what binary options are and how to navigate the platform’s interface.

Platform training

But that’s where it stops. There’s no progression beyond entry-level content. You won’t find structured courses, live webinars with experienced traders, or detailed market analysis that helps you develop genuine trading skills.

If you’re serious about developing as a binary trader – understanding technical analysis, risk management, or advanced strategies – you’ll need to source education elsewhere.

Customer Support

We’ve tested Binarium’s customer support multiple times, and the live chat is genuinely impressive. Response times have consistently been under two minutes – critical when you’re dealing with time-sensitive trading issues. The 24/7 availability means you’re never stuck waiting until business hours.

Beyond live chat, you can reach the broker through email, phone, and even Telegram. Phone support operates during standard business hours, but since live chat runs around the clock, you rarely need to call.

Live chat conversation with Binarium

Chat support

You won’t get a dedicated account manager, but the support team we’ve interacted has been competent in handling technical questions, account verification issues, and payment inquiries without unnecessary delays.

However, remember that excellent customer service doesn’t compensate for the fundamental risk of trading with an unregulated platform. Quick chat responses won’t help you if there’s a serious dispute with no regulatory body to intervene.

Should You Trade Binary Options With Binarium?

Trading with Binarium can be suitable for beginners who want a simple, low-entry way to try binary options. The platform is easy to use, offers a decent range of assets, and has low minimum deposits.

The demo account and responsive 24/7 live chat also help get new traders started without much hassle.

However, the broker lacks regulation and advanced tools, and its research and educational content are basic at best. Payouts are average compared to top brokers, and withdrawal processes may be slow for lower-tier accounts. If you’re okay with these limitations and prefer simplicity, Binarium can work as a starting point.

However, if you’re looking for a more robust trading experience with in-depth market research, enhanced protections, and seamless withdrawals, more established brokers are worth considering.

FAQ

Is Binarium Legit Or A Scam?

Binarium is an offshore binary options broker that has been around since 2012. It has low minimum deposits, but it’s effectively unregulated, so there’s no official protection in place if problems arise.

Withdrawals can be slower than with other brokers, and the platform provides limited transparency and security measures. The lack of regulation means that traders should exercise caution and only trade with money they can afford to lose.

For those wanting more security, regulated brokers are a safer bet.

Is Binarium Suitable For Beginners?

Binarium is beginner-friendly with a low $5 minimum deposit and $1 minimum trade. Its simple platform and demo account make it easy to start.

You can trade binaries on common assets like forex, crypto, stocks, and commodities, and features like tradeback reduce losses for newcomers.

However, educational and research tools are limited, and the broker isn’t regulated, so there’s more risk involved. Binarium suits those seeking a straightforward, low-cost entry into binary options, but not those requiring in-depth learning or enhanced protections.
